Breakfast Club

We provide a pre-school setting during term time, looking after children aged 2 years up to reception age. We also operate a breakfast club for children age 2 years and above, and an after-school club for children aged 3 to 11 years.
During school breaks we offer a holiday club for children aged 3 to 11 years.
The Horns Drove Community Childcare Centre is a community-run charity caring for up to 30 children per day, from across Nursling and Rownhams.
We were established in 1985 by parents looking for a playgroup in the village, and since 2006 we’ve been based in a purpose-built lodge within the grounds of Rownhams St John’s Primary School.
We’re now a team of 3 Directors and over 13 staff, looking after children from across and around the Nursling & Rownhams area.
Horns Drove Community Childcare was founded in 1985 by parents seeking a playgroup in the village, for their children.
We were based in the Horns Drove Community Centre until December 2006 and were managed by a volunteer committee of parents.
In January 2007 we moved to a purpose-built lodge on the grounds of Rownhams St John’s primary school and incorporated as a charitable company.
Our pre-school provides 30 places per day for children aged 2 up to reception age.
We’re based in a purpose built lodge within the grounds of Rownhams St John’s primary school and provide children with a wide range of activities including cooking, messy play, story and song time, play dough, sensory play, and water play.
Our Footprints team offer a breakfast club for children aged 2 to 11 years old, and are able to drop children off at Rownhams St John’s primary school.
We provide a breakfast consisting of cereal and / or toast, and an opportunity for children to play before (pre-) school.
We offer a holiday club for up to 30 children per day, aged 2 to 11 years old, providing a wide range of activities for children to enjoy.
We boast a large outdoor play area with a climbing frame, playhouse, sandpit, mud kitchen, and kitchen garden.
